Hej! We are Maarten & Janneke & love to welcome you in Swedish Lapland! We have made the big move from the Netherlands to Sweden in april 2022. We felt home ever since in the beautiful kommun of Arjeplog. We spent all of our summer and winterholidays in Sweden & Norway for the past decade. For years we said: “one day we will move to Swedish Lapland” The wilderness, silence, peace, beautiful nature, our true North..  it was always calling us! We love camping in the wild, our two cats, fika, road-tripping, photography, wildlife, hiking, fishing (and ofcourse eat the catch of the day by the fire) Besides running our company Laplandliv we have seasonal jobs: Maarten as a testdriver during winter & as a very skilled carpenter year-round! Janneke is a photographer and during both summer & winter seasons as a receptionist at a hotel in Arjeplog. We both are really good at enjoying our life in our quiet little paradise in this corner of the world & love to share this with our guests! ​
