We are located 45 km outside of Arjeplog, on the shores of Uddjaur.

Your nervous system has never experienced silence like this.

No traffic. No notifications. No small talk you didn’t ask for.
The lake was completely still, like glass.

There’s something about standing in front of water that still that does something to your own stillness.
Your breathing slows down without you deciding to.
Your thoughts stop racing to keep up with anything.

This is just what happens when nature has nothing to prove.
Studies on time in nature keep pointing to the same thing: our stress response actually needs quiet to reset.
